Also known as Adobe Exchange Marketplace, Exchange Marketplace, CX Enterprise Exchange, Experience Cloud Exchange
Adobe's marketplace at exchange.adobe.com where customers find, acquire and manage partner-built extensions for CX Enterprise products: App Builder apps, server-to-server integrations, catalog listings (such as AEM connectors) and partner solutions. Partners publish listings through Adobe Developer Distribution, and Adobe reviews them before they go live. Organization system administrators approve, deploy and revoke acquired apps. Separate from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace and the Adobe Express add-on marketplace.
Also known as Exchange for Experience Cloud, Experience Cloud Marketplace
The CX Enterprise part of Adobe Exchange. Customers browse listings with keyword search, filters (app type, product, category, industry, country, company, partner level) and sorting; featured listings appear in a carousel. Each detail page shows the required Adobe products, media, documentation and support.

Also known as App Builder apps on Exchange, Public App Builder apps
Apps built with Adobe Developer App Builder that run on Adobe's runtime and are installed into the customer's organization, often as UI extensions inside a product. Developers declare required products (AEM, Analytics, Target, Campaign, Audience Manager, Experience Platform, Commerce) and customer configuration fields. A listing can also be published on the Commerce Marketplace.

Also known as Multi-tenant integrations
Multi-tenant partner applications that call Adobe APIs on the customer's behalf. A system administrator grants consent on the Adobe IMS consent screen, which creates a technical account with the requested API scopes, and can assign product profiles or revoke access (existing tokens keep working for one hour).

Also known as Exchange Manage, Manage acquired apps
The Manage area of Exchange lists the App Builder applications and server-to-server integrations acquired by the organization, with their status. System administrators review, install, configure and revoke them here.

Any enterprise user can acquire a listing for their organization: Exchange checks that the required Adobe products are present and asks the user to accept the publisher's licence agreement, then notifies the system administrators.

Also known as Review, Approve or revoke apps
System administrators approve or reject acquired App Builder apps with notes. Users can ask again after a rejection, and revoking an app uninstalls it for the whole organization. Privately distributed App Builder apps submitted from Developer Console are approved in the same place.

Adobe reviewers approve or reject each submission, usually within 10 business days, and give reasons for rejections. Listings move through Draft, In Review, Approved, Published, Retracted and Rejected; developers can delay publishing, and metadata edits to live listings go through a faster review.

Also known as Adobe Exchange Program
Publishing CX Enterprise listings needs membership in Adobe's Digital Experience Partner Program (the AEM connector docs still call it the Adobe Exchange Program), unless the developer's organization has CX Enterprise products. Silver membership and above makes listings public; the free Community level gets only an unlisted detail page link. Members can also request product sandboxes, such as AEM developer licences.
