The CX Enterprise core service, shown in the interface as the Audience Library, that holds audiences as lists of Experience Cloud IDs and shares them between applications. Audiences come from Analytics segments published to CX Enterprise, from Audience Manager, or from rules built in the library itself, and are used for targeting in Target, Audience Manager, Campaign and Advertising.

The provisioned core service that bundles the Audience Library and Customer Attributes. When it is provisioned, Audience Manager gets folders of Analytics traits, segments and data sources for each report suite mapped to the organisation; Campaign audience sharing also needs it (or Audience Manager) to be enabled.

- Audiences created in CX Enterprise# Capability
  Also known as Create an audience in Audience Library
  Audiences built directly in the library from rules. A rule uses either real-time Analytics data (eVars, props, events and default variables of a chosen report suite) or CX Enterprise attributes such as published Analytics segments and Audience Manager data. The library warns when more than five rules are added.

  Analytics segments published to CX Enterprise for a report suite. The title and definition appear at once; membership over a rolling audience creation window is evaluated every four hours and is usable after about eight hours. Needs ECID on the report suite and the Segment Publishing permission.

Real-time and historical audiences# Capability
Audiences sourced in the library are evaluated in real time. Historical audiences from Analytics are evaluated every four hours, take up to eight hours to process and share, and always include returning visitors. Audiences shared from Analytics into Audience Manager cannot be used for real-time targeting.

Limits and latency# Capability
Up to 75 published Analytics segments per report suite (audiences created in the library do not count), at most 20 million unique members per audience shared from Analytics, a 4 to 8 hour delay before an Analytics audience can be acted on in Target, Advertising and Campaign, and 12 hours before a deleted report suite disappears from the library.
